1. Which Is the Best Mac of All Time?
-------------------------------------
We probably all have our favorites, but if you listen to Bob LeVitus, he casts his vote for the iMac DV.
Not just because it's "a great personal computer and easy-to-use Web appliance." Not just because it's "a full-blown home theater system, complete with a DVD player and mind-blowing Harman Kardon sound system." And not just because "iMac DV is a complete video editing studio that anyone can use."
But because it's all three. As LeVitus puts it (in an article that first appeared in the Houston Chronicle), "On top of being gorgeous, the iMac DV is like getting three different machines for the price of one." It is, he says, "without a doubt the best iMac of all time," and "may well be the best Mac of all time."

2. iMovie--So Easy, Even a Grown-up Can Use It
----------------------------------------------
What did LeVitus like most of all about iMac DV?
iMovie, the video editing software that comes with every iMac DV and iMac DV Special Edition.
"Using iMovie," he says, "was unbelievably easy. I shot some footage of my son's soccer game on Saturday. By Sunday at noon I had completed a seven-minute mini-movie, complete with soundtrack, dialog, professional-looking dissolves and cross-fades, and rolling credits."
But moms and dads aren't the only ones who can create video magic with iMovie. iMovie holds as much potential for kids (as an incredible vehicle for self-expression) and for educators (as a teaching tool with tremendous promise).
To sample that potential, take a look at the movies that a group of elementary students created using iMovie, iMac DV computers, and a Canon Ultura <sic?> camcorder at a recent digital desktop video workshop:

3. AirPort: One of the Most Innovative Products of 1999
-------------------------------------------------------
In addition to naming iMac a gold winner as one of the Designs of the Decade, Business Week recently recognized another Apple product--AirPort--as one of the most innovative products of 1999.
With an AirPort Base Station connected to a traditional phone line, cable modem, DSL modem, or local area network, you could surf the web, download e-mail, or play network games from your kitchen, sofa, patio, or anywhere else in your house, office, or classroom that's within 150 feet of the base station. And if you have two or more AirPort-enabled Macintosh computers, all of them can access the Internet at the same time.
