Adventures Of A Computerphobe by Buck
E. Bohlz
-
-
These are the ongoing chronicles of the computerphobe,
Buck, who - like many of us - suffers from the justifiable primordial
fear of the technology that has permeated nearly every aspect of
our modern existence. Buck, a middle-aged/middle-ages man thrust
into the information era (kicking and screaming all the way), will
be our guide as we get to look through the eyes of a newborn technophile.
From translating PC files, to graphics editing, to working with
peripherals and other challenges, Buck's insight is usually poignant,
and often hysterical. Nonetheless, each chapter offers a great way
to help the computerphiles out there rejoice at the power and ease
of use of the Macintosh computer. And for those computerphobes out
there, Buck's writings are a great source of hope and encouragement
that if even a computerphobe as terrified as Buck can overcome his
apprehension - thanks to his Mac - then there is hope for the computerphobe
in all of us.
