Linmar Animals is the name of the small
farm where the 2 Fords Network is located. Linda Ford is the owner,
operator, breeder & feeder of all the animals. From time to
time, she also sells some of the animals when their numbers become
too great. Below are some pictures from around Linda's farm. Linda's
latest "thing" is raising small birds. Photo's of all
the different breeds is coming soon.
We call this area, "the outback". It is grazing area for the animals.
This is the front pasture. The animals have all that space "outback" but they seem to always be hanging around up front.
Just part of the Pigmey goad herd. Many different blood lines here. From Africa, India, China, and ?
The father of all the goats from India. This is Captain who is almost 20 years old. His mate, Princess has been gone for a couple of years, but Captain continues to lead the lazy life. The business of leading the heard has long been turned over to "Billy", a much younger goat with blood lines from China.
Arabian horses (brown - Apple Fire) (grey - Misty Blossom) are Linda's passion. Due to health problems, Linda no longer rides, but the horses do not seem to mind. They get plenty of pampering, and think they are big dogs.
Speaking of dogs, this is father (Pancho left) and son (Mag right). Pancho is gone now, and Mag has assumed the rold of King of the pasture. Not one animal has been killed by coyotes since importing these Anatolean Shepherd dogs from Turkey.
This is Pancho, with a look on his face like he's saying "come any closer with that camera and I'll eat it!"
This is Mag saying "I can look mean too!" Actually, having a fence between you and Mag is always a good idea.
Only pictures we have of our two Australian black swans. Sadly, a neighbor's dog killed the two swans. The dog was put down, but the neighbor never felt he should replace the $1,000.00 birds.
