Dodge Diamante
The '70 Diamante, '68-'69 Daroo 1, '68-'69 Topless Charger (that became the '70 Supercharger) and the'69 Swinger 340 Design Study, along with a cutaway display of a Hemi Scat Pack engine. The Diamante began as the Dodge Yellow Jacket-the first Hemi convertible E body - but for the 1970 it received some cosmetic changes, including a pearl white re-paint to become the Diamante, or diamond in Spanish. But after its first show, the car was badly scratched while being reloaded on the truck. It was sent out for a quick repaint, only to return wearing a candy tangerine color, perfect for the flashy 1970's, but hardly diamond colored. Still the Diamante it remained.
