Oldsmobile F88 Dream Car
The 1954 Oldsmoblie F-88 featured cone-shaped clear plastic headlamp covers and a functional hood scoop. It was strictly a dream car, since the lukewarm sales of the Corvette precluded any sports car cloning by the other GM divisions. Some 50 years after the F88 "Dream Car" was conceived, it sold at Barrett-Jackson classic car auction for $3,240,000 (including 8 percent buyer's premium)!!!!!!! Highest car ever sold by Barrett-Jackson.
