PACKARD-DARRIN
Jay Leno has one of these in his collection. He is one of the few that can afford this prime collector car from the 40's. Packard's first Model A horseless carriage in 1899 was a far cry from this sleek roadster. Long legged men of the day really liked the "suicide" doors which opened from front to rear giving easy entrance and exit to the small compartment.The company struggled in the post war era and finally closed it's doors in 1958 .
