Instructions for Tel Net on PCs
1. Push start button, go up to run and click with mouse
2. Type in telnet,*** (XP users have to type in telnet:216.60.35.2:110 click on OK button and then skip to step #6) ***All sysems other than XP click on OK button after typing in Telnet.
3. When the Telnet window opens click on connection and then remote server
4. In the connect window that pops up type in 216.60.35.2 in the host line
and 110 in the port line
5. Click the connect button on the connect window. This will open a
connection to our POP3 mail server.
6. When the telnet window open type in user, a space, your user name, then
press the Enter key on keyboard
7. type in pass, a space, your password, and then press Enter on your
keyboard
8. If your user name and password are correct it will open up your mail
account and tell you how many messages you have.
9. For a complete list of commands type in help and then hit Enter
10. To see the list of messages type in list and hit Enter
11. if you see any messages that are too large and you want to delete them,
type in dele and then the number of the message, then hit Enter
12. The messages don't renumber themselves so you can delete a list of
messages one at a time without having to look at the list again.
13. When you are finished type in Quit and hit Enter
