Setting up your browsers Homepage

The homepage on your browser is the pager on the internet it automatically pulls up whenever you run your browser open a new browser window. The default setting for Netscape will take you to Netscape's homepage and the default setting for Internet Explorer will take you to Microsoft Network's homepage. As a 2 Fords customer it would be most desirable to have our main page as your homepage. John often posts important news about 2 Fords Network there; such as: any problems we may be currently having, scheduled maintenance that will mean one or more of our computers will be down for a short while, or any changes such as the new outgoing mail server mail2.2fords.net. Your browser will also pull up the homepage it is set to if you hit the homebutton on the toolbar.

Setups For:

On the 5.0 version click on the word TOOLS and scroll down to the last choice INTERNET OPTIONS.

When the Options window comes up you will see a list of tabs across the top. You should already be on the GENERAL tab, if not then click on GENERAL.

Use Current   Use Default   Use Blank

Type in the box next to address:   Http://www.2fords.net
Then press the OK button at the bottom of the options window
If you want the home button on the browser window to work you have to have a homepage entered here. If you start up with a blank page, then the blank page will be your homepage.
